EVS project “Together 4 Intercultural dialogue” is a group EVS Project. 4 volunteers from Romania, Palestine, Morocco and Portugal will be staying for 6 months in Lithuania/Vilnius working in Culture center “In Actio”.
The volunteers will develop personal competences living and working in new environment as well as contribute to local community working on the activities that will foster intercultural learning and dialogue. Important part of the volunteers’ activities is courses of cultures for local youth in order to promote cultural diversity and tolerance (understanding) to different cultures.
Volunteers will be also involved into developing and leading informational and promotional activities about the Youth in Action Programme and cultural dialogue by their country presentations. Most of the learning process of volunteers will be based on non-formal and informal educational background as well as they will be encourage to use art as expression methods for their activities with young people by promoting intercultural dialogue.
Improved or new competencies of volunteers, cultural courses for local youth, updated guidebook for volunteers in Lithuania and a table game for intercultural dialogue that can later be used by different youth NGOs are the main expected results of this project.
