Slovenian Youth Centre “Kotlovnica” organized an international youth exchange “EURO” which took place in Kamnik, Slovenia in December of 2007. Young people from Slovenia, Spain, Bulgaria, Hungary and Lithuania discussed about European currency Euro.
On anthropological – cultural workshop participants discussed the meaning of currency for nation, for Europe and what it means to lose currency. They also discussed what is important enough to represent a country through money.
All that was going on in these workshops was documented with video and photography. Later these materials were prepared for publication on a web site and a web site about the exchange was made.
Participants were divided in 4 groups, which had their own tasks; still every group had to work closely to one another.
