Youth exchange “Don’t let prejudices rule you” took place in Romania, Sinaia and was hosted by “Together Romania.” This multilateral youth exchange brought together youngsters from Romania, Serbia and Lithuania to share experience and feelings, to find common ways to fight prejudices and stereotypes and to look for solution to negative behavior.
The main goal was to create an activity that would enable all participants to focus and reflect on prejudices and stereotypes and to establish a peaceful, positive and fun meeting. The challenge of the project was to discover how to live with diversity, how we can overcome differences, respect other cultures, encourage cultural dialogue, breakdown prejudices, stereotypes, intolerance and discrimination.
Participants found this six days experience very useful and also challenging; they learned to be more tolerant and to communicate with people with different cultural background.
